Goal 3
Improve the living conditions of abused, exploited, neglected and differently-abled women and children and those at risk

 
Consuelo Foundation partners with a select number of community-based organizations that are providing services using promising experiential and metaphoric program models.

Current Program actitivies:
  • Ke Aka Ho‘ona is one of  the most innovative self-help housing projects of its kind, providing 75 deserving Hawaiian families a unique community to live and raise their families.
  • Family Promise is providing case management support to 30 homeless families.
  • Consuelo’s program Keolahou through Nanakuli Housing Corporation provides services to Hawaiian. families to achieve their goal of home replacement
  • Beginning in 2008 in partnership with Helen Wai, Consuelo Foundation will be offering Financial Literacy classes and individual financial planning to low-income families at seven community-based locations around the state.
