Will future leaders of O‘ahu’s Leeward community come from Ke Aka Ho‘ona? Can the values of a supportive, substance abuse-free and violence free environment positively affect the values of the larger community? Will the children raised in this environment adopt the values promoted by Ke Aka Ho‘ona and pass it to their children? While early indicators are promising, Ke Aka Ho‘ona remains an experimental “Work-in-Progress” and will continue that status for years to come.
