Our target populations are disadvantaged women, children, and families
throughout the Philippines and Hawai‘i in most need of hope. We establish shelters
that provide education and livelihood opportunities for them. We serve them
in partnership with direct service organizations who comprise our network of
partners.

Together with our partners, we pursue the following goals:
Reduce the incidence of abuse, exploitation and neglect of women and children in the beneficiary population.
Promote recovery and reintegration of women and children survivors of abuse, exploitation and neglect in the beneficiary population.
Improve the living conditions of abused, exploited, neglected, and differently-abled women and children and those at risk.
Promote reproductive health and family planning.
To assist us in meeting our goals, we use these strategies:
Enhance the quality of social services, program sustainability, and leadership development for the Foundation and its partners.
Strengthen organizational capacity, both Consuelo Foundation’s and partners’, to pursue our missions effectively and efficiently.
Assist partners in the use of progressive technology, including MIS, technology training, and projects such as: E-Skills, 5 E’s, etc.
Promote research, evaluation and integration of best and promising practices.
Create a learning community both internally and externally among the board of directors, staff, partners and other organizations between both Hawai‘i and the Philippines.

Our resources are used to:
Establish shelters that provide education and livelihood opportunities for children and youth.
Develop self-help and income-generating skills to encourage self-sufficiency.
Provide medical, dental, and social services, and post-disaster recovery.
Encourage and give families the tools to make decisions about
family size and family spacing.
Encourage our beneficiaries to giving back to the community some of what has been received.
